Code of Conduct

Purpose

The purpose of the Code of Conduct is to promote the best possible individual, team, and program responsibility that supports the development of first class citizens at all times.


General Code of Conduct Rules

  1. All participating team members will abide by the Code of Conduct for this club and United States Swimming.
  2. Curfews at team travel events shall be obeyed unless the coach grants extension or the swimmer is traveling with parents.
  3. Male and female swimmers shall not be in each other's rooms on any team trip unless supervised by the coach or the swimmer's parent.
  4. Use of alcohol us unacceptable at any time.
  5. Use of drugs, other than prescription drugs, is unacceptable at any time.
  6. Smoking is unacceptable at any time.
  7. Disrespectful, indiscreet or destructive behavior will not be tolerated.  It is the responsibility of each swimmer to conduct themselves in a considerate, respectful manner.  This behavior is expected of coaching staff, swimmers, and parents.
  8. All participants are expected to handle time management of swim practices and schoolwork.
  9. All participants, families, and coaching staff have the responsibility to help ensure the safety of the program participants.

Violation of the Code of Conduct

At the discretion of the Coaching staff, any or all of the following penalties may be applied.

  1. A swimmer may be scratched from the meet.
  2. A swimmer may be sent home immediately from practice or meet at his/her own expense.
  3. A swimmer may be suspended from the team until the swimmer, parents, and coaching staff are satisfied the problem will not reoccur.
Practice Announcements

There will be regular practices in the evenings for the rest of this week.

Practice on Saturday (3/13) will be 9:00-11:00AM.

Practice on Sunday (3/14) will be 1:30-4:30PM.
